Fernando serves as the President of the Roberto Osuna Foundation and as Secretary of Sindicato de Trabajadores al Servicio del Ayuntamiento de Culiacán (STASAC), one of Sinaloa’s largest labor unions. He has also served as Sinaloa’s 15 and under World Boys Baseball head coach and serves as the President of la Asociación Sinaloense de Béisbol. His coaching career began in 1988 and under his leadership, Mexico has participated in the Irvine Memorial Day Tournament for 23 consecutive years.
